This is one of the weaker 'because' words, if you see what I mean.

In other words, the causal relationship isn't always spelled out in obvious
terms in translations of sentences with 'node', hence the 'and' option.

node is almost a connector between phrases, whereas karaniha is much
stronger. (contributor: dc)

But you cannot replace 'node' with 'karaniha'. Please see .  (contributor:

ex #483 - Can 'node' also mean 'Since' in this context? 'He shoplifted

i changed that ex slightly.
