?? is this also pronounced 'tooshite' ? (contributor: dc)

It seems to me that ex#3468 isn't related to this grammar point.
(contributor: CorDarei)

You are right. #3468 is a different animal. (contributor: bamboo4)

Forgive my ignorance, but is the first 「言葉」in ex #4512,
「言葉を通じて多くの言葉が習得される」correct? Should it
be 「読書」or some such thing? (contributor: Leslie)

isn't ni tsuujite also correct?
(contributor: g12)

dc 通して is read as tooshite. 通じて is tsuujite.
#4512 Leslie you are right. Here, 読書を通じて would be better.
(contributor: Miki)

#4514 ni tsuujite iru is different from the entry. (contributor: Miki)

#4508 Is it 'shopping by mail order'? I think it is more popular to say
カタログを通じて通販で買い物をする… 通販(つうはん)is
short for 通信販売(つうしんはんばい). (contributor: Miki)

In ex #4508,カタログを通じて is weird. Should either be
カタログによって or カタログを用いて.
